In this inaugural episode, Learning First Alliance Executive Director Richard Long talks with the authors of The Elements Transforming Teaching Through Curriculum-Based Professional Learning:

  • Dr. Stephanie Hirsh, managing director of Hirsh Holdings LLC, is the former executive director of Learning Forward, and has also worked as a secondary school teacher, administrator and school board member.

  • Dr. Jim Short, program director of Leadership and Teaching to Advance Learning, Carnegie Corporation of New York, is a former science teacher and teacher educator.
